Rick is an amateur photographer living in the San Francisco Bay Area
He is inspired by many things, often spontaneously, ranging from surfing photography & landscape to abstract, portraits & cityscapes. Rick's favorite technique is shooting wide open with fast aperture lenses, focusing the attention on his subject with very shallow depth of field. His most frequently used lens is a Canon 28-70 f/2.8 L but prefers the creativity afforded by the additional focal length of the 70-200 f/2.8 L.
